Meet Charlie
Hi, I’m Charlie Coons.
I grew up watching my father and grandfather make candy long before I was old enough to help. Those early mornings in the candy kitchen taught me that great candy is not rushed — it is crafted with patience, tradition, and pride.
In 1984, I took over the family business, continuing a tradition that began in the 1800s. Today, I am proud to carry on those same recipes while introducing the fifth generation of the Coons family to the candy-making tradition.
Although many things have changed over the years, one thing never has.
We still make our candy the same way my father, grandfather, and great-grandfather did — using the original family recipes and carefully hand-packing every box that leaves our kitchen.
